About the Job

The Quality Systems Compliance Intern will work closely with our Quality Systems & Assurance team to support the identification, documentation, and resolution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs follow-up). This role is an integral part of our commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining the highest quality standards across our organization. Here are some key activities:

• CAPA Identification and Documentation: Assist in the review and documentation of reported non-conformities and deviations. Work collaboratively with teams to gather information and evidence for CAPA incidents.
• Root Cause Analysis Support: Participate in root cause analysis sessions, contributing ideas and insights. Assist in the documentation of root cause analysis findings and proposed corrective actions.
• CAPA Implementation Assistance: Support the coordination and implementation of CAPA plans. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely execution of corrective and preventive actions.
• Verification Activities: Assist in conducting effectiveness checks to ensure that implemented CAPAs have addressed identified issues. Document and summarize the results of verification activities.
• Documentation Control and Reporting: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of CAPA activities. Assist in the preparation of regular reports on the status of CAPA initiatives.

About you

We are seeking a proactive, communicative, and resilient intern to join our team as a Quality Systems Compliance Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and management within a quality management framework.

You are a Master' student in a food technical or quality discipline , i.e. Food & Technology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Food Quality / Safety management. You have knowledge of quality andfood safety management systems (HACCP, ISO, GMP, GLP, FSSC, FSMA regulations, HALAL).

On top of that, you have good communication and analytical skills. A digital mindset and knowledge of Excel and PowerBi is a plus. Preferably, you should speak Dutch and English at advanced/fluent level.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Ideally available to start in March for a minimum of 6 months, 4 or 5 days per week;

• You are advanced/fluent in Dutch and English - oral and written;
• You are able to work from Zoetermeer factory 4 times per week.
• Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
